Received an error while trying to access a view. The error is "B-Tree structure is invalid." What exactly does this mean?
You either have a corrupt view or corrupt documents in your database. Contact the HelpDesk for solutions.
When logging into the Notes client or iNotes you receive "You are not authorized to access the server" or "Error 500"
You are currently in a 'denied access' group because you have either left the institution or a request was mad to remove your mail account privileges
If you have Notes client 8.5.2 and you receive the following error:
Cannot find external name: NAMESORTVIEWPO,
then please follow these instructions:
Open your Inbox
Select Actions - Folder - Upgrade Folder Design
After you complete the process, close/reopen mail. This should fix the problem.
When trying to launch
Lotus Notes, you receive an error message:
“An Error Occurred While Opening a Window.
To solve this problem, all of the Lotus Notes processes have to be terminated. There is a utility available called
Download and run
it, and it will kill all processes used by Notes.
You should then be able to launch Notes without a problem.
Error "Not a known TCP/IP Host"
The TCP/IP error message stems from one of two sources.
Either there is no network connection available (cannot browse the web)
The mail server name can not be associated with the IP address.
In either case, the mail server can not be reached.
For the first scenario is to check with the HelpDesk.
For the second scenario:
File/ Database Open...
type in only the IP address for the mail server the user is on:
220.127.116.11 (for FACADM)
18.104.22.168 (for HOSP)
Go to the address book, and in the left-pane select
In the right-pane click on
for the server the mail file resides
Click on the Advanced tab within the document, and in the section "Only from Location" place a check mark next to
Save and Close
Error 'Insufficient frame/frameset handles'
The common cause for this error is having too many windows open. Typically this issue is not observed unless there are more than 30 to 40 windows open.
If this error occurs and 20 or more windows are open, then try closing between 5 to 10 of the windows and see if the issue is resolved. If so, Notes is working as designed.
If the issue occurs when there is not more than 20 to 30 windows open, then this is not the expected behavior. First try exiting Notes and restarting Windows, and then see if the issue is resolved.
If your address book receives the error message when opening: "application CWPCA8522E failed to be installed..."
