Opening Another Mail File

In order to open another person's mail, you should first be given access to their mail file (click on the following link Database 'Downstate Notes Help', View 'All Documents', Document 'Granting access to your Mail/Calendar').
Once you've been given the access, go to your Inbox, and click on the word Mail for (your name) in the upper-left-hand corner of Lotus Notes.

It will then pop-up the Downstate's Address Book; type in the name of the person's mail file you were granted access to.

The mail file will then open up.

If you would like to create a link to this database, so that you do not have to repeat these directions, right-click the newly opened mail tab & select Create Bookmark...
OR
click once and hold on the tab that shows the database you're in, i.e. TestStudMail
Then drag the icon to the Open button located in the upper left-hand corner of Lotus Notes application, and drop it by letting go of the mouse.
